I'm confused...what really is the effect of dusha?

the description says "Literally invalid 1 damage from enemy, ignore the abnormal status attack like chaya as well."

but below it says "Defense Rate increase (160 secs) Movement Speed Increased by (160 secs) Corpse of enemy. Use in Body Explosion Magic"

neither works...I don't see my shield nor my Defense and movement speed increased...

Please help..
