Cannot play the game!

Hello guys and GMs.

I badly need help :\..
So this is what happened; I downloaded the "Full Client January 23, 2012 (436MB)" and also the "Full Patch November 01, 2011 (size: 26MB)" and "New Patch January 17, 2012 (size: 75Kb)". But the problem is, the screen resolution is way big, I can't see the login box. And whenever I try to run "Tantra" (with the red symbol), all it says is 'Cannot Connect NotifyMsg.dat!' and when I click OK, a whole bunch of 'Cannot Open Version File' appears, and it doesn't stop. Please help? IDK what to do..

Yes, I tried launching the HTLauncher but the Resolution is way too big I can't even see the Login Box. I don't know how to change that. The only way I know how to, is to open the Tantra (with the red sign) and change it through there. But yeah, I keep getting those errors I've told you about :\..what am I gonna do?

run tantra.exe or update.exe and click on options to adjust the screen resolution.
